NEA 560 COMPACT: The New Ultra-High Capacity Dense Phase Pump

Verne Technology expands its line of low-pressure dense phase conveying systems with the official launch of the new NEA 560 COMPACT.

Engineered to deliver top-tier performance and maximum operational efficiency, the NEA 560 COMPACT represents the high-capacity evolution of powder transfer pumps, combining an extremely compact footprint with a versatile modular design.

Operating Principle and Performance

The NEA 560 COMPACT pump features four internal chambers alternating in a continuous 2+2 stroke collection and delivery cycle. This advanced mechanism ensures an ultra-smooth, continuous powder output, reaching a maximum flow rate of up to 6 kg/min.

Compared to conventional Venturi-style pumps, dense phase technology uses significantly less air in the powder stream. This prevents powder degradation, reduces air consumption, and allows for extremely fast and thorough cleaning cycles during color changes.

Key Technical Specifications:

  • Maximum flow rate: up to 6 kg/min
  • Main air supply pressure: 0.6 – 0.8 MPa (6 – 8 bar)
  • Adjustable transport pressure: 0.1 to 0.4 MPa (depending on conveying distance and particle size)
  • Total air consumption: ~450 l/min
  • Integrated Control Timers: precise independent control of Left/Right cycling times customized to particle density and transport distance.
  • Special Configurations: Available in FDA Compliant execution for food and pharmaceutical applications (with grey pinch valves P/N 10035) or standard non-conductive black pinch valves (P/N 10034).
  • ATEX Certification: Ex II 3 D c T6 for operation in potentially explosive dust atmospheres.

Easy Installation and Low Maintenance

Weighing only 21.5 kg, the NEA 560 COMPACT is easily panel-mounted onto existing powder systems or spray booths. Its user-friendly construction allows quick disassembly for routine inspection, cleaning, or replacement of wear parts (such as pinch valves and fluidizing tubes).
